A Legacy of Metal Excellence
Fannings Electroplating began as a small operation in 1985 when James Fanning Sr. opened the doors to our original 2,000 square foot facility in Sherman, Texas. Back then, we focused primarily on agricultural equipment and hardware for local farms — businesses that needed reliable corrosion protection to withstand the demanding North Texas climate.
Through the 1990s and 2000s, we grew alongside the automotive and manufacturing industries exploding across North Texas. We expanded our capabilities, added chrome and nickel plating services, and moved to our current 12,000 square foot facility that allows us to handle everything from small custom jobs to large-scale production runs.
Today, the second generation of Fannings runs the day-to-day operations, but the philosophy remains exactly what James Sr. established: quality work, fair prices, and treating every customer's parts like they were our own.
