Professional Chrome Plating
Show-quality decorative chrome and industrial hard chrome plating services for classic cars, custom builds and manufacturing.
Chrome That Wows
There's nothing quite like chrome. That brilliant, mirror-like reflection is instantly associated with quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Whether you're restoring a classic car, building a custom hot rod, or simply want components that make a statement, our chrome plating delivers.
Great chrome starts long before the actual plating process. Surface preparation is everything — every scratch, pit and imperfection in the base metal will show through the final chrome finish. That's why we spend the time doing it right: proper grinding, polishing, nickel undercoats and copper strikes that build a foundation for that show-quality shine.
But chrome isn't just about looks. Hard chrome plating provides exceptional wear resistance, low friction coefficients and thermal stability for industrial applications like hydraulic cylinders, piston rings, molds and dies that see daily use in demanding manufacturing environments.

Decorative Chrome
What most people picture when they think of chrome — that brilliant, mirror-like finish on car bumpers, wheels, trim pieces and custom parts. Decorative chrome is actually a multi-layer system: copper for leveling, nickel for brightness and corrosion resistance, and a thin chrome top layer for that distinctive blue-white appearance.
We handle restoration work for classic cars, custom motorcycle parts, automotive accessories and architectural hardware. Every part gets our full attention to detail because we know your reputation — and your car's shine — depends on it.
Best For:
- Classic car restoration
- Custom motorcycle parts
- Automotive trim and accessories
- Architectural and furniture hardware
Hard Chrome Plating
Hard chrome is a different beast entirely — a thick, dense coating (0.001" to 0.010" or more) applied for wear resistance, not looks. It's the workhorse of industrial plating, extending component life in applications where abrasion, friction and wear would quickly destroy untreated steel.
Our hard chrome is applied to precision-ground surfaces, building back up worn components to original dimensions or providing a wear-resistant surface on new parts. It's matte or semi-bright in appearance — not a show finish, but incredibly durable.
Best For:
- Hydraulic cylinder rods
- Piston rings and engine components
- Molds and dies
- Shafts and bearings

The Chrome Process
Show-quality chrome requires a multi-step process where each stage builds on the last. Here's how we transform tired, corroded parts into brilliant showpieces.
Strip & Clean
Old chrome, paint and corrosion are chemically or mechanically removed. Parts are thoroughly cleaned to bare metal.
Copper Strike
A thin layer of copper is applied to level the surface and provide a foundation for subsequent plating layers.
Nickel Plating
Bright nickel is applied to build thickness and create the underlying brightness that makes chrome pop.
Chrome Topcoat
The final thin layer of chrome is applied, providing that distinctive blue-white color and corrosion protection.
