Electroless nickel is something else entirely — a chemical process depositing nickel-phosphorus alloy uniformly across every surface regardless of geometry. It's the solution for hydraulic manifolds, valve bodies, pump components and any part with recesses, threads or internal passages that traditional plating can't reach evenly.

Why Electroless Nickel?
Unlike electrolytic nickel plating, electroless nickel deposits without electricity — through a controlled chemical reaction. This means the coating thickness is uniform everywhere, regardless of part geometry. Inside holes, threads, recesses and complex shapes get the same coating as external surfaces.
Electroless nickel is specified by engineers when uniform coverage and consistent properties matter. The phosphorus content (typically 8-12%) determines hardness and corrosion resistance. Lower phosphorus = harder coating; higher phosphorus = better corrosion resistance.
